I’m excited! A huge change has happened in my life lately and with change comes re-evaluating what you want and don’t want in your life. I realised my blog had become something that wasn’t true to me anymore.
I have always been one to embrace who I am. Joelyne Inspires will be all about celebrating who we are as women, what we love and how we can be our best selves.
For me, being your best self involves a journey of self discovery. My journey in particular, might seem to some like smooth sailing, and as grateful as I am for all that I have achieved in life, there have always been obstacles that’ve popped up – like they do, for everyone.
I overcame anxiety 6 years ago. I didn’t even know it was anxiety until later on. I faced all these scary feelings (fear) and had no idea where they came from or why. They just appeared out of nowhere. I learnt why, and got through it – on my own – I would never advise that for anyone else, but at the time it was the only way I knew how. Being such an independent person can have its downfalls. I’m not one who is good at seeking help. (working on this!) Although, I have an amazing and wonderful friend who at the time didn’t realise how much she helped me. At least I let her in.
Life brings with it many ‘obstacles’, however, they are there for a reason, and it is how you come out of them that makes all the difference. Never giving up! It does take effort, and it may be hard, but each time you get through it you become stronger and learn so much more about yourself.
I’ve learnt so much, I’ve read so many books about the mind, body and soul, and have listened and learnt from many wise people. I can empathise and relate to so many, and what they’re going through. I’m not afraid to have the hard conversations.
This blog is now an opportunity for me to share what I’ve learnt, and what I learn along the way. We never stop learning. That’s the exciting thing about life.
I want to touch womens lives. We are all meant to be happy and live fulfilling lives. Every single one of us. My life purpose, is to make a positive difference, and keep listening, inpiring and being there for all the amazing women I come across.
Here are some blog posts I’ve written in the past that might help inspire you! These are the sorts of topics I will be writing more of!
