A quick update from an Internet Cafe in Nafplion Greece!
Did you know that Nafplion was the first capital of Greece? It’s a must visit, with lots of historical value. I walked up the palimithi (fortress/castle) which has 999 steps!
Spent last night at Tolo beach which is right near Nafplion. About a 10 minute drive. We had a spectacular view of the beach from our balcony. It was very relaxing and I look forward to going back one day.
We spent some time in Isari – where George’s Dad grew up. A very cute village. Thousands used to live there, now only under 100. All the young people have moved to the city areas like Athens.
Picked some sour cherries from a family friend’s farm. Eaten straight from the tree – SO fresh and tasty!
So many pretty flowers.
Not long to go and I’ll be back to the rat race. Back to routine!!!
